The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for implementation and support of the X-HISฎ product that is built on a Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform and that provides on-demand clinical workflow solutions to healthcare clients. The PM manages and implements projects from initial sale through go-live. Oversees complex, multi-phase implementations, including kickoff, scoping of project, data creation, application build, system test, and go-live by providing matrix management and project oversight of the resources responsible for project tasks. Develops and maintains detailed project plans and other related project materials. Develops and maintains communications between internal and external clients, including status reports, issue logs, risk mitigations and managing expectations. Acts as primary point of escalation for project issues during the implementation phase of the project and coordinates handoff of client and project to downstream organizations. The project manager is also responsible for internal communication of project status, issues and risks to project stakeholders and program leadership team. This position may require travel of up to 50% and may support the companys other projects and solutions as needed.
Runs complex projects/programs from design and development to production, ensuring projects are on-time and on-budget.
Conducts multi-phase implementations, including kickoff, project scoping, data collection, data creation, system test, go-live, and issue management throughout implementation period.
Develops and maintains project plans and other related project materials.
Develops and maintains communications between internal and external clients, including status reports, issue logs, and managing expectations.
Defines project requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation.
Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
Plans and schedules project deliverables, goals and milestones.
Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.
Serves as main point of contact for client during implementation process.
Coordinates client, operations, technical, and vendor team activities.
Plans and conducts regular project meetings.
Creates and maintains on-going project tracking and status reporting.
Ensures project team collaboration and early escalation if project is tracking behind.
Provides go-live support for clients (remote and onsite).
Clearly communicates program/project status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to senior management.
Ability to understand customer strategies and needs and to propose the appropriate solution.
Identifies third party applications to enhance CRM solutions as required
Participates in the sales, engineering support teams, acting as product expert in collaboration with the Director of Service, Product Development and other implementation and support teams.
Supports the sales staff in presales efforts related to the companys products and solutions.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) required
Minimum 5 years of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or clinical applications
Minimum 5 years of project management or IT management
Resourceful out of the box thinker with exceptional problem resolution, interpersonal, presentation, organizational and time management skills
Experience in dealing with executives, and verbally presenting information in a clear and concise manner
Excellent communication (written and verbal), customer service and tenacious follow-up skills
Process focused, with ability to multitask and prioritize
Team attitude (do what it takes to get the job done) and ability to foster team atmosphere each project
Ability to be successful in remote environment
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), CRM, SQL, and MS Access
Proficiency in project management and planning tools
Clinical workflow consulting experience within billing offices, ambulatory clinics, diagnostic imaging centers and teleradiology groups
Hands-on experience with CRM configurations, workflows, data import and business process functions
Familiarity with IHE integration capabilities
Experience on a .Net platform
Data conversion and general knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards preferred
Customer support experience in a small company environment
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred
